Arabian Cement Company (ACC), one of Egypt’s leading cement producers, has ordered
Taiheiyo Engineering Corporation’s (TEC) TTR ® -G at the Ramliya plant. The TTR ® -G will be
integrated with Kiln No. 2 and is scheduled to begin operation in the second quarter of
2026.
The TTR ® -G is a compact, high-efficiency system designed to optimize the combustion of
alternative fuels, enabling a significant increase in thermal substitution rate without
compromising kiln stability.
This investment reflects ACC’s commitment towards environmental stewardship and cost
efficiency. The adoption of advanced technologies such as TTR ® -G is becoming a critical
component of strategic measures taken by cement producers worldwide, as the industry
faces mounting pressure to decarbonize.
